Generation Z, which consists of individuals born between the mid-1990s and the early 2010s, is now on the verge of the 2024 general election. In facing this democratic party, Gen Z's role in elections has great potential to shape and formulate the country's political direction.

One of the main characteristics of Gen Z is their high connectivity to technology and social media. Their widespread presence on online platforms gives them the power to mobilize and disseminate information quickly. Therefore, Gen Z's participation in elections is not only about voting in the voting booth, but also making an impact through online campaigns, educating fellow youth, and fighting for important issues.

The importance of Gen Z's participation lies in their ability to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the political arena. This generation is often identified with the values of inclusivity, diversity, and social justice. Therefore, their presence in elections could shift the focus to issues such as climate change, human rights and gender equality.

Political education also plays a crucial role in encouraging Gen Z participation. Understanding the political system, their rights and responsibilities as citizens, and the importance of their voice in shaping policy is an integral part of their involvement. Educational institutions and community organizations need to work together to provide sufficient knowledge to this generation.

In the 2024 election, Gen Z's vote has the potential to be a driver of change. Young voters can elect leaders who represent their values, shape policies that take this generation's needs into account, and overall, make a positive contribution to the country's development. Therefore, involving Gen Z in elections is not only a wise decision, but also an investment in an inclusive and progressive future.

Generasi Z, yang terdiri dari individu yang lahir antara pertengahan 1990-an hingga awal 2010-an, kini berdiri di ambang pemilihan umum 2024. Dalam menghadapi pesta demokrasi ini, peran Gen Z dalam pemilu memiliki potensi besar untuk membentuk dan merumuskan arah politik negara.

Salah satu karakteristik utama Gen Z adalah konektivitas mereka yang tinggi terhadap teknologi dan media sosial. Keberadaan mereka secara luas di platform online memberikan mereka kekuatan untuk memobilisasi dan menyebarkan informasi dengan cepat. Oleh karena itu, keikutsertaan Gen Z dalam pemilu tidak hanya tentang mencoblos di bilik suara, tetapi juga memberikan dampak melalui kampanye online, mendidik sesama pemuda, dan memperjuangkan isu-isu penting.

Pentingnya partisipasi Gen Z terletak pada kemampuan mereka untuk membawa perspektif segar dan ide-ide inovatif ke dalam arena politik. Generasi ini seringkali diidentifikasi dengan nilai-nilai inklusivitas, keberagaman, dan keadilan sosial. Oleh karena itu, kehadiran mereka dalam pemilu dapat menggeser fokus ke isu-isu seperti perubahan iklim, hak asasi manusia, dan kesetaraan gender.

Memahami sistem politik, hak dan tanggung jawab sebagai warga negara, serta pentingnya suara mereka dalam membentuk kebijakan adalah bagian integral dari keterlibatan mereka. Institusi pendidikan dan organisasi masyarakat perlu bekerja sama untuk memberikan pengetahuan yang cukup kepada generasi ini.

Dalam Pemilu 2024, suara Gen Z memiliki potensi untuk menjadi pendorong perubahan.
