    Coexistence in Diversity

    Indonesia is a country with a million diversity. The existing diversity has become a symbol of unity and is packaged within the framework of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Therefore, we must keep it intact and harmonious.

    However, recently Indonesia has often experienced a crisis of tolerance. The differences that exist actually lead to divisions. In fact, it is the differences themselves that should make Indonesia beautiful because it is more "colorful".

    As good citizens, we must maintain unity and oneness by adhering to the ideology of tolerance. Do not let Indonesia be divided due to negative issues. Remember the saying, "united we stand, divided we fall."

    Indonesia is a religious country. This is evidenced in the first principle of Pancasila, namely Belief in One Almighty God. Freedom of religion is guaranteed in Article 29 of the 1945 Constitution which states that the state is based on Belief in One Supreme God and the state guarantees the freedom of each citizen to embrace their own religion and to worship according to their religion and beliefs.

    In Indonesia alone, there are six religions recognized by the state. The religions recognized by the state are Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. The six religions must coexist in society with the principle of tolerance among religious believers.

    Some of the major religious celebrations of these religions almost coincide, Silent Day (Hindu), Easter (Christian) Fasting of Ramadan or Eid al-Fitr (Muslim). The beauty of mutual respect in society can be seen from the message of each member, not to make fun of each other, even though there are actually very sharp differences in their theology.

    When Hindus attend Nyepi, Easter Christians and then Muslims fast Ramadan, not a few people from each participate in maintaining the security and solemnity of their worship.

    How cool is the life of our society. Obviously there are differences in religion, but there is no chaos and noise. Compared to our representatives, who are only a few people, the response to a handful of political elites in this country is extraordinary noise, complaining to each other, slandering each other, and so on. And it doesn't need to be imitated by society.

    Hidup berdampingan dalam Keberagaman

    Indonesia adalah negara dengan sejuta keberagaman. Keberagaman yang ada telah menjadi simbol persatuan dan dikemas dalam bingkai Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Oleh karena itu, kita harus menjaganya agar tetap utuh dan harmonis.

    Namun, belakangan ini Indonesia kerap mengalami krisis toleransi. Perbedaan yang ada justru menimbulkan perpecahan. Padahal, perbedaan itu sendirilah yang seharusnya membuat Indonesia menjadi indah karena lebih “berwarna”.

    Sebagai warga negara yang baik, kita harus tetap menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan dengan menganut paham toleransi. Jangan sampai Indonesia terpecah-belah akibat isu-isu negatif. Ingat kata pepatah, “bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita runtuh.”

    Indonesia adalah negara yang religius. Hal itu dibuktikan dalam sila pertama Pancasila, yaitu Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa. Kebebasan dalam beragama dijamin dalam UUD 1945 pasal 29 yang menyatakan bahwa negara berdasar atas Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa dan Negara menjamin kemerdekaan tiap-tiap penduduk untuk memeluk agamanya masing-masing dan untuk beribadat menurut agamanya dan kepercayaannya itu.

    Di Indonesia sendiri, ada enam agama yang diakui oleh negara. Agama-agama yang diakui oleh negara adalah Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Hindu, Budha, dan juga Konghucu. Keenam agama harus hidup berdampingan di masyarakat dengan prinsip toleransi antarumat beragama.

    Beberapa perayaan besar keagamaan dari Agama-Agama tersebut hampir berhimpitan, Hari Raya Nyepi (Hindu), Hari Raya Paskah (Nasrani) Puasa Ramadan atau Idul Fitri (Muslim). Indahnya saling menghargai di masyarakat dapat dilihat dari pesan setiap umat, tidak saling mengolok, meskipun sesungguhnya sangatlah tajam perbedaan dalam teologinya.

    Ketika umat Hindu Nyepi, umat Nasrani Paskah kemudian Muslim puasa Ramadan, tidak sedikit umat masing-masing berpartisipasi dalam menjaga keamanan dan kekhidmatan beribadahnya.

    Alangkah sejuknya kehidupan masyarakat kita. Jelas ada perbedaan dalam beragama, tetapi tidak terjadi kekacauan dan kegaduhan. Bandingkan dengan perwakilan kita yang hanya beberapa orang, menyikapi segelintir elite politik di negeri ini gaduhnya luar biasa, saling mengadu, saling fitnah, dan sebagainya. Dan itu tidak perlu ditiru masyarakat.

    Indonesia iareka nagara baragama, na ninicinimo battu ri pancasilayya, sila uru-uruna, iamintu Kalompoanna karaeng Aatala. Kaerokanta ammilei Pahang agama, nijaming ilalang UUD 1945 pasal 29 ulalanna nikana dasara’ nagara iareka Kalompoanna karaeng Aatala siagang nagara najaming maradeka masaraka’ ammilei agamana, na anyomba sasuai agamana.

    Ri Indonesia nia annang agama, iamintu Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Hindu, Budha, siagang Konghucu. Anne annang agamayya nikullei akbulosibatang.

    Allo kalompoanna anne annang agamayya asiampi-ampiki, allo nyepi (Hindu), allo Paskah (Nasrani) allo pa’lappassang (Muslim). Sanna baji’na punna kimassing abbulosibatang, tena sicalla-calla, manna mamo tena nasangkamma.

    Punna Hindua Nyepi, uma’ Nasrani paskah, nampa musim appuasa rumallang, tena tong nasikedde uma’ na massing appakalompo abbulosibatang.

    Sanna’ baji’na katallassangnga. Nia memang ten ana sangkama punna beragama tawwa, mingka ten ana nipajari passila-salanga. Akkulle nicini battu parwakilang angkellai sigenra-genra nagarayya, appasiba’ji, anfitnai siagang maraenganna pole. Kammayyami anne tena nakulle nituruki.
