Elections: Apathy or what?

Cats are one of the most comfortable, free and safe places to vent because they won't respond to anything. If you want to illustrate, this cat is like a young man who is exposed to political issues, where he would prefer to just remain silent and not care.

If cats don't respond to human comments, perhaps because they don't understand, the same goes for young people who are politically apathetic because they don't understand politics. What exists in the youth paradigm is only the dark side of politics, such as corrupt politicians, politicians who use young people as political fuel, like to seek sympathy at the start, only make promises, and other violations in the political system. Even though politics is not as dirty as imagined, even if politics were carried out according to the constitution, perhaps the condition of a country would be as peaceful as the life of Mr. Gemoy's cat.

Even though they are not interested in politics, young people are often active in criticizing politicians' mistakes in running the political system. But unfortunately, usually young people only actively criticize without providing solutions, in fact they may never think about solutions to the criticism they voice. However, the solution is the key. One solution that can be done is to plunge directly into the problem and make changes. It's like if you have a position, you have power. The power to run the political system in accordance with its goals and functions, or in accordance with the criticism expressed by young people towards politicians.

Youth must be aware of the importance of their role in the political realm. Youth are bringers of change because their thoughts, which are always ambitious to move forward in a modern way and are more influential, are more open-minded, more sensitive and have a high humanitarian spirit, make them hopeful in realizing a political world that is healthy and in accordance with the rules.

One of the simplest political participation that may be the first step youth in politics, namely in elections, where the majority of voters are young people. Therefore, it is important for young people to understand politics so that they can make the right choice, where the person chosen can be like the Bugis tribe philosophy, namely "siri na pacce" which means maintaining self-esteem so that they are always responsible so that their self-esteem is not tarnished, so that their potential or The hope of representing them is also to convey the interests and hear the aspirations of the people, as well as bringing change and progress to the country. And of course being a good example for society, especially young people, so that they again believe in politics and participate in it.

Kucing adalah salah satu tempat curhat ternyaman, bebas, dan aman karena, dia tak akan merespon apapun. Jika ingin diilustrasikan, kucing ini seperti pemuda yang disuguhi oleh isu-isu politik, dimana dia akan lebih memilih untuk diam dan tak peduli.

Jika kucing tidak merespon curhatan manusia,mungkin karena memang tidak memahami, begitupun dengan pemuda yang apatis politik karena memang tak paham akan politik. Yang ada pada paradigma pemuda hanya sisi gelap politik saja seperti, politisi yang korupsi,politisi yang menjadikan anak muda sebagai bahan bakar berpolitik, suka mencari simpati diawal, hanya menebar janji, dan pelanggaran-pelanggaran lainnya dalam sistem politik. Padahal politik tidak sekotor yang dibayangkan, bahkan jika politik dijalankan sesuai konstitusinya mungkin kondisi suatu negara akan sedamai kehidupan kucing pak gemoy.

Walaupun tidak tertarik akan politik namun pemuda kerap kali aktif dalam mengkritik kesalahan para politisi dalam menjalankan sistem politik. Tapi sayang, biasanya pemuda itu cuman aktif ji saja mengkritik tapi tidak memberi solusi, bahkan mereka tidak pernah sama sekali napikirkan tentang solusi dari kritik yang mereka suarakan itu. Padahal solusi ji yang menjadi kuncinya. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan yaitu, dengan terjun langsung ki dalam masalahnya dan memberi perubahan. Ibaratnya ko punya jabatan ko punya kuasa, kuasa untuk menjalankan sistem politik sesuai dengan tujuan dan fungsinya, atau sesuai dengan kritik yang kita sampaikan kepada para politisi.

Pemuda itu toh harus sadar kalau penting ki peranannya dalam ranah politik. Pemuda itu pembawa perubahan karena, pemikirannya mereka yang selalu berambisi maju dengan cara moderen dan lebih berpengaruh, berpikiran lebih terbuka, lebih peka ki juga dan punya i jiwa kemanusiaan yang tinggi, menjadikan mereka itu harapan dalam mewujudkan dunia politik yang sehat dan sesuai akan aturan.

Salah satu partisipasi politik paling sederhana yang mungkin menjadi langkah awal pemuda dalam politik yaitu pada pemilu, di mana sebagian besar pemilihnya merupakan anak muda. Maka dari itu pemuda penting memahami politik agar dapat menentukan pilihan yang tepat, di mana orang yang dipilih tersebut dapat bersifat seperti falsafah Suku Bugis yaitu "siri na pacce" yang berarti menjaga harga diri sehingga selalu bertanggung jawab agar harga dirinya tidak tercoreng, jadi potensi atau harapan dalam mewakili juga membawa kepentingan dan mendengar aspirasi masyarakat,serta memberi perubahan dan kemajuan bagi negara dapat terlaksana. Dan tentunya Menjadi contoh yang baik bagi masyarakat terutama pemuda sehingga kembali percaya akan politik dan ikut berpartisipasi didalamnya.
