Putu cake is known as Putu Cangkir (Putu Cangkiri), this cake comes from South Sulawesi, typical of Makassar.
Putu Cangkir Cake is made from a mixture of rice flour, sticky rice flour, brown sugar, vanilla and salt. The dough is put into a special mold, filled halfway, then on top of the dough is placed grated coconut, then filled again with dough, and steamed until cooked. Putu Cangkir cake is better eaten while it is still hot, it tastes sweet.

Kue Putu yang terkenal dengan sebutan Putu Cangkir (Putu Cangkiri), kue ini berasal dari Sulawesi Selatan, khas Makassar.
Kue Putu Cangkir terbuat dari campuran tepung beras, tepung ketan, gula merah, vanili dan garam. Adonan dimasukkan kedalam cetakan khusus, diisi setengahnya,kemudian diatas adonan diletakkan parutan kelapa, setelah itu diisi kembali dengan adonan, dan di kukus sampai matang. Kue Putu Cangkir lebih enak disantap selagi masih panas, rasanya manis.
