Makassar Digital “Living” Dictionary is a collaboration between the National Language Agency of South Sulawesi Province (Balai Bahasa Sulawesi Selatan), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Techology for South Sulawesi (“Kemendikbudristek”), Rumata' Art Space, BASAibu, and Makassar speakers worldwide. The dictionary is part of BASAsulsel Wiki, one of the programs under the BASAibu Wiki umbrella. The public contributes to the dictionary by adding examples of words in context, making the dictionary “come alive” with actual usage contributed by real people showing how the language is currently used.
