Based on data from the 2024 election in 38 provinces, there are 204.8 million voters, while Generation Z numbers 113 million voters or around 60%. Young people in generation Z themselves are more likely to use social media, which means it will have a big influence on the 2024 general election.

This has caused a lot of pros and cons, especially among generation Z, and has given the mayor of Central Java a bad view, plus now he is nominating as a presidential candidate in 2024, which has caused generation Z themselves to feel hesitant about voting because of things they have already done. did this even though previously the image of the mayor of Central Java was already very good, as can be seen from the posts uploaded to his TikTok account, where he knows how to win the hearts of today's young people.

Berdasarkan data pemilu 2024 di 38 provinsi terdapat 204,8 juta pemilih, sedangkan generasi z berjumlah 113 juta pemilih atau sekitar 60%. Anak muda pada generasi Z itu sendiri lebih cenderung menggunakan sosial media yang artinya itu sangat berpengaruh pada pemilihan umum 2024.

Mungkin bisa dilihat dari berita “FIFA resmi mencabut status tuan rumah Piala Dunia U-2023 dari Indonesia” salah satu penyebabnya yaitu oleh seorang gubernur Jawa Tengah menyampaikan keberatannya soal kedatangan timnas Israel di Piala Dunia U-20 akhirnya dari pihak FIFA mengatakan bahwa Indonesia resmi dicoret sabagai tuan rumah piala duni U-20.

Hal ini menyebabkan banyak terjadinya Pro dan kontra terutama dikalangan generasi Z dan mendapat pandangan buruk pada walikota jawa tengah itu sendiri, di tambah lagi saat ini dia mencalonkan sebagai capres 2024 yang menyebabkan generasi z itu sendiri ada rasa bimbang untuk memilih di karenakan hal yang sudah ia lakukan padahal sebelumnya citra dari wali kota Jawa tengah ini sudah sangat baik bisa di lihat dari postingan yang di unggah pada akun tiktoknya dimana dia tau cara mengambil hati anak muda sekarang.
