In everyday life, of course we often meet people who always complain about the various problems they face. Some of them even always blame their environment or family for their mental condition. In fact, if examined more deeply, mental health is actually part of self-control that must be managed by every human being. A person's ability to regulate their emotions and thoughts is an important aspect in maintaining mental balance.

Mental health is not entirely the responsibility of the surrounding environment, but rather an obligation for every human being. When someone experiences mental disorders, there is often an assumption that other people or the environment are responsible for their condition. However, in reality, a healthy mind depends on how a person manages their own thoughts. In the Stoic Philosophy contained in the book Philosophical Teras, it explains that control over ourselves is in our hands. This means that individuals have the power to determine whether to let external factors affect their mental condition or not.

One of the main reasons why someone feels trapped in mental problems is their inability to control or understand the problem. Many people assume that mental disorders are something that depends entirely on the environment, when in fact mental health is closely related to how a person responds to various situations in their life. If someone allows toxic people into their life and allows negative influences, then they have polluted their own mental balance. However, if they are able to limit themselves from these negative influences, then they have taken steps to maintain their mental health environment.

To create a mentally healthy environment, each individual needs to develop awareness and the importance of managing emotions and thoughts. The first step we need to take is how we think. A healthy mindset will be able to help someone manage stress from the pressures of their life. In addition, the ability to organize and manage various aspects of life is also the main key to maintaining mental stability. Life is not about how we are influenced by the environment, but about how we are able to manage ourselves and not let external factors control our minds.

Ultimately, mental health is a personal responsibility that cannot be imposed on others. We are given reason and mind by the creator to think and organize, and also manage our own lives. Therefore, awareness of the importance of maintaining mental health must start from ourselves, not from demands on the environment or other people.
