By focusing on welfare, governments can reduce poverty rates and increase people's access to resources, creating a more inclusive society. Good well-being is related to better health. Healthy communities contribute to productivity and reduce the burden on the health system. Community well-being supports better access to education, enabling individuals to develop the skills and knowledge needed to contribute to society. A focus on well-being creates a society that is more resilient to economic crises, natural disasters, and other challenges, thereby increasing long-term desirability.
