Words are sharper than a knife

"Did you know? Why do so many people on the internet often say they're depressed? It's even frequently found in comment sections, excessive hate comments. Are they aware of what they're doing? Are they aware? They can kill others with their words. In fact, a high school student attempted suicide because expressing themselves on social media resulted in being cursed by many people. 'Words are more deadly than guns', words are sharper than weapons, and that's true. So, are they aware that their words can cause people to experience mental depression?
As reported by BBC.Com, 'YouTubers Cho Jang-mi and athlete Kim In-hyeok committed suicide after becoming victims of internet bullying, the South Korean public started a petition'. Just because of a small mistake, Cho Jang-mi and Kim In-hyeok ended their lives because they couldn't bear to feel the bullying on social media. This proves that words can kill others, and the facts are proven by this news. Stophate.uk states from their research results that hate comments will only create a desperate person, often anxious, and at worst, severe depression. Words can easily be released from our mouths, but we don't know that those words can get trapped in someone's head? The more trapped a painful word is, the more that person's mental state deteriorates and deteriorates until it eventually leads to severe depression.
Not only that, our words can even stab ourselves. What if because of our words, we end up receiving hate speech from others? We won't know the impact of our words, right? For ourselves and others, let's guard our words. Don't say something without thinking first or feeling the consequences!"- Affiliation
