In a small town that is always steeped in political apathy, I, a young man named Irham, feel called to bring a new color to local political events. Inspired by the spirit of creativity and fun, I proposed a different concept: Ridiculous Elections. The goal is simple, to change people's views on politics, which is often considered boring.
The first step was to invite local candidates to host a series of ridiculous competitions. Starting from cracker eating competitions while explaining political programs to fighting silliness in debates that are more entertaining than serious. I believe that engaging people in lighthearted and intriguing moments will make them more open to real political issues.
The entire event was prepared with great enthusiasm, and citizens began to feel positive vibes that they had never experienced before in a political context. A carnival market became a gathering place for residents, who not only watched silly matches between candidates, but also took part in various fun activities organized together.
It turns out, the decision to include ridiculous elements in the general election really worked. Citizens who were initially apathetic started talking about politics with smiles on their faces. They find joy in supporting their favorite candidates, based not only on their political platforms, but also from the silliness they deliver.
The results were astonishing. Candidates who successfully combine creativity, silliness and a clear political vision receive huge support from the public. I feel satisfied seeing this transformation, where local political life is no longer characterized by boredom and apathy, but by enthusiasm and cheerfulness that makes everyone feel involved.
In the end, Ridiculous General Election not only gives a new color to local politics but also teaches us all that overcoming political apathy can start by presenting an innovative and fun approach. This is proof that politics doesn't always have to be serious; sometimes, a little silliness can open the door to greater community involvement.

Coto Makassar is thought to have existed since the time of the Gowa Kingdom, specifically in Gowa Regency in the 16th century. In the past, sirloin and tenderloin beef dishes were only served to the royal family. Meanwhile, the innards were served to lower class people or royal servants who were followers of the kingdom.

The millennial generation plays a role in influencing government policies and results through their participation in elections as a form of implementation in Indonesia's democratic system. The millennial generation is simply defined as the Millennial generation born from the 1980s to the late 1990s. Based on research by The Urbans Millennials in 2017, in Indonesia itself there are 255 million people, 81 million of whom are the millennial generation for the first time. In 2020, Indonesia experienced a demographic bonus phenomenon, having a population of productive age greater than the number of non-productive people and 50% of that productive age. are the millennial generation. Millennial voters who will cast their vote in the General Election. According to the applicable regulations, voters who get the right to take part in a democratic party for the first time are 17 years old and if they are married (Law, 2003). How should millennials participate in politics? In the era of political democracy, everything that concerns the state and society is always synonymous with politics. Democratic politics and elections must be instrumental in determining leaders for the country. Politics as our active participation in determining the direction of the nation. The campaign on behalf of the millennial generation, fighting for and providing space for this generation to appear as actors of national change is more visible only to gain votes from the generation which numbers 35% in Indonesia. General elections are a process of implementing democracy where every citizen has the right to determine their future leader (Nasir, 2020), where there is freedom, justice and equality for everyone in any field. Based on Law Number 7 of 2017 article 1 concerning General Elections, elections are a means for a sovereign society to conduct elections for the DPR, DPD, DPRD, and the president and his deputies. In the implementation of elections, elections are carried out on the principle of "direct, public, free, secret, honest, fair" and are based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The implementation of elections is a form of democracy in a country. The millennial generation plays a role in influencing government policies and outcomes through their participation in elections as a form of implementation in Indonesia's democratic system. So, a smart millennial must be able to decide rational choice. Must be active in various political processes starting from active participation in elections, quality political participation balanced with open political views so that it is not easy to get caught up in divisive conflicts With the dominant activities of the millennial generation in using technology, it also makes it very easy for anyone to provide input to this generation via social media. Judging from the interests of this generation, of course it is clear who wants to benefit from the large number of millennial generations, including in their respective political interests. Of course, significant millennial potential is not easy to obtain, it requires an active, creative approach and of course in accordance with their technologically updated world. As the millennial generation, of course you have to know about technology and media, so existing political participation must be balanced with increasing existing references in making choices. Don't get caught in hoaxes in the millennial era when using social media. Don't get caught up in fake issues/news without being real. It is hoped that in the future there will be no millennial generation who will not exercise their right to vote or abstain. The millennial generation must be smart and active in exercising their voting rights. There is minimal attention to millennials in elections. The problems that will be faced include KPPS workload, logistics distribution, voter data validation, money politics, and the spread of hoaxes or hate speech during the campaign period. The lower voter participation in elections in a country indicates that there are problems that determine solutions. The positive impact of the role of the millennial generation in elections, Millennials are very passion-driven and dare to take risks to achieve their dreams. They are also quick to learn, adapt, open-minded, and optimistic about pursuing their ambitions.
In a village there was a young man named Ari who saw that his friends did not care about politics or who would be a leader for the future. According to Ari, the voices of his friends were a hope for the future to determine who would lead in the future. Because of that, Ari was looking to find out what made his friends not care about politics. After asking his friends, Ari found some information, namely that many thought that politics was boring and uninteresting, also that the things that would be debated were the same and very minimal. because of the changes that have occurred, Ari also has a plan to get young people interested in politics and let them know that politics is not boring or uninteresting. Ari made these political candidates make their presidential candidates' photos attractive like the posters in existing films, so that there were no monotonous posters such as greeting poses, Ari thought that because the photos of these candidates were unique they would definitely become a topic of conversation for people. people around him, especially those around Ari's age, not only that, Ari also thinks that it would definitely be more interesting if the debates between candidates weren't too tense. Ari thinks that the candidates' vision and mission should be conveyed through interesting films or animations that are also related to photos of the vice presidential candidates such as that movie poster. The next day Ari wrote down his ideas and sent the input to the central government and Arii's idea to attract the attention of young people was not accepted :) +
