The involvement of young people in elections is very important, young people are an integral part of society who play a big role in determining the future direction of a country. Youth involvement in elections not only guarantees better representation, but also brings new perspectives, energy and different needs to the political process. They bring innovative ideas and changes that can have a positive impact on the political life of a country. So, preparing young people to be involved in elections is key to ensuring a healthy and representative democratic process. It is important to make young people aware of the importance of their role in elections. The role of young people in elections, namely educating about the electoral process, creating awareness of voting rights, and encouraging active participation in the democratic process is a good first step. There are two political roles that young people can play in elections. First, get involved in direct political contestation as legislative candidates from the central to regional levels. Second, become part of the civil society forces carrying out election supervision. Youth involvement in practical politics is certainly not solely to achieve political power, according to M. Umar Syadat Hasibuan in the book Youth Political Revolution (2008), youth involvement in the world of politics is generally swept away by the current of short-term interests, even though being involved in practical politics must be accompanied by a vision. long-term pioneering. Democratic countries place youth as the subject of government, unlike monarchical or communist countries which tend to place youth as the object of government. The higher the youth participation, the better the quality of democracy in the country. It is clear that young people are very important in elections for positive change in areas such as education, employment for young people, the environment, social justice, or technological innovation. What is certain is that they are trying to represent the voice of the younger generation and fight for their interests. The inclusion of elections and political participation as variables that determine the high and low levels of the democracy index is our collective homework, how to create elections that are not limited to a five-year procedural mechanism for changing elites, but are able to make people politically intelligent, so that they can criticize the programs and track records of parties and candidates, as the main consideration when the public and youth make their choices in the voting booth.

Students who long to go to school as before before COVID-19 came because teaching and learning activities are no longer carried out at school but from home and until now teaching and learning activities have not been carried out at school because the government has not given permission for the implementation of face-to-face teaching and learning activities in schools.  +
Politics is an aspect that cannot be separated from our daily lives in society, nation and state. Some experts even argue that politics is a tool to move a country. Political development and youth are things that we cannot separate. Because when politics experiences development, the role of youth is really needed to oversee this process. Because in the end the young generation are the people who will continue the fate of this country in the future. We cannot deny that currently the young generation's awareness of politics is still far from our expectations. This is caused by a lack of appropriate and correct political education for ordinary people about what politics really means and means. So there are still many young voters who do not exercise their right to vote or abstain when the general election is held. Apart from that, acts of anarchy and money politics carried out by some young people who do not carry out political activities in the right way make the young generation from certain circles misperceive the true meaning of politics and are the cause of the emergence of groups that are anti-politics. However, we need to know , our absence as a young generation who in the future will be the successors of this nation in political activities and our indifferent attitude towards politics will not lead this country in a better direction. We must admit that although many young Indonesians prefer to abstain from voting or do not want to care about the political situation in Indonesia and do not have a good understanding of politics, there are also many young people who already have an awareness of politics and participate in carrying out political practices. We can see this by starting to develop youth political organizations in society, as well as the increasing number of young people who are becoming candidates for people's representatives in legislative elections. Finally, we must admit that the young generation is the spearhead of a nation's progress. Because without a young generation who is smart and understands politics, there will be no young generation who understands national and state life. How can we young people continue to lead our nation and country if we do not understand the political situation of our own country. Politics is the foundation of a country, if the political situation in a country is good then that country will develop into a strong country. On the other hand, if the country's political situation is chaotic then this could be the cause of the collapse of a country. So it is our duty as the nation's next generation to start learning and take an active role in political activities in order to create a strong foundation for the country that is ready to compete on the international stage.
Frequent blackouts in Jakarta have a multiplier effect on the country’s national and economic security, as well as Jakarta’s development toward becoming a smart city. Two policy options for the government explained in this article would be to reform PLN management and introduce smart grid technology.  +

Sexual harassment is actually not only in the form of physical violence, but can also be verbal that smells of sex. Sexual violence is also widely carried out in public places, one of which is in schools and universities. At first glance, we certainly think and reject these thoughts when sexual harassment occurs in the educational environment because that should be a place for studying and education and also prioritizing the values of decency. But in reality, in the educational environment there are also many cases of sexual violence. The majority of victims of sexual harassment are women, almost every year the number of cases of sexual violence against women continues to increase. After knowing that cases of sexual harassment from year to year are increasing and the motives are increasingly diverse. Surely people will think how to break the chain of sexual harassment cases? Therefore, when a teacher or lecturer commits sexual harassment in an academic or educational environment, they are indirectly teaching the practice of sexual harassment to their students and students. No wonder when a teacher or lecturer sexually harasses his students and students, and even students may do the same thing to fellow students and fellow students. In this case, usually the cause is weak character education in the academic and educational environment. And sexual violence is not only experienced by students and students but is also sometimes experienced by teachers and lecturers. So it is necessary to "rectify" the orientation of a motivated academic environment, namely by strengthening the cultivation of character education to all elements in the academic and educational environment. achieved by putting aside character education. Efforts that can be made to reduce the rate of sexual harassment are First, the need to strengthen character education in the educational and academic environment. Second, teachers and lecturers are examples of good character to students and students, so as much as possible provide examples of good behavior in the educational environment. Third, victims of sexual harassment must be firm in reporting their cases so that these cases are immediately identified, and responded to by the competent authorities and immediately followed up in the legal realm in order to provide a deterrent effect on perpetrators of sexual harassment.
Sexual violence is any act of degrading, humiliating, harassing, and/or attacking a person's body, and/or reproductive function, due to unequal power relations and/or gender, which results in or can result in psychological and/or physical suffering including those that interfere with a person's reproductive health. and lost the opportunity to carry out education safely and optimally. Gender-based violence against women in the educational environment is most common in universities. Komnas Perempuan Commissioner, Siti Aminah Tardi, said that in the 2015-2021 period, there were 67 cases of violence against women in the educational environment. Sexual violence in the educational environment faces obstacles in claiming justice and reparation for victims. This is due to the strong power relations of the actors. Hierarchical relations, inequalities, and/or dependence on social, cultural, knowledge/educational, and/or economic status give rise to power on one party over another in the context of inter-gender relations to the detriment of those in a lower position. For example; At school (between teachers and students), and on-campus (between lecturers and students). The government's role in overcoming this is: 1. The government returns to the first principle of Pancasila, the Belief in One Supreme God. 2. Permendikbud No. 82/2015 concerning Prevention and Overcoming of Violence in Education Units, this Permendikbud is intended to create a safe and comfortable school environment. 3. In the Permendikbud it is explained that all parties must participate in preventive efforts including Students, educators, education staff, parents/guardians, school committees, community, local government, and government. 4. Ensure Permendikbud No. 82/2015 concerning Prevention and Overcoming of Violence in Education Units is going well and there are systems and mechanisms/SOPs for prevention and handling that are made/implemented. 5. Collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religion in dealing with sexual violence or gender-based violence in the education environment. 6. Sexual violence should not be covered up because it is not a taboo subject to discuss, so it must be submitted to the public so that efforts are made to handle and/or prevent and recover victims. As for how women should be placed so that they are awake: 1. Return to the first principle of Pancasila, Belief in One Supreme God. 2. Parents must teach that men and women are different. Allah has placed men and women in their respective positions according to their nature. In some cases, some of them should not and cannot replace others. There are some specific problems, indeed there is a difference. God adjusts this according to their instincts, character, and conditions. 3. Women must maintain their self-respect. 4. Women are placed at home if there is no emergency need. 5. Put our daughter in a good school or University, or Islamic boarding school. 6. Married, as a means to maintain the chastity and honor of both men and women. In addition, marriage can reassure the heart and prevent oneself from immoral acts because the benefits of marriage are: a) Maintain human offspring and survival. b) Maintain self-respect and chastity. c) Provide peace for two people. There are protected and protected. And bring love to both of them.
Smoking is an activity that has a bad impact on both the user and those around him. Currently the level of child smokers in Indonesia is soaring high, how to overcome it? By doing positive activities such as studying, socializing, and choosing a healthy environment can have a good impact on someone who is addicted.  +
Sexual violence is the humiliation, degradation, abuse, and/or assault of a person's body and/or fertility due to unequal power and/or sex relations, resulting in psychic and/or physical suffering. It affects human reproductive health and misses the opportunity to provide a safe and optimal education. Gender-based violence against women in education is most prevalent in universities. Commissioner Siti Aminah Tardi of Komnas Perempuan said there were 67 cases of violence against women in the field of education between 2015 and 2021. Sexual violence in the classroom encounters obstacles in demanding justice and compensation for victims. This is due to the strong power relations among the actors. Hierarchical relationships, inequalities and/or social, cultural, scientific/educational, and/or economic dependencies. In the context of gender relations, one party establishes power over the other at the expense of the lesser people, such as; at school (between teachers and students) and on campus (between teachers and students). The role of the government in addressing this problem is as follows: 1. The government returned to the first precept of Pancasila, belief in the one supreme god. 2. Permendikbud Permendikbud No. 82/2015 Permendikbud on the prevention and mitigation of violence in educational institutions aims to create a safe and comfortable school environment. 3. The Minister of Education and Culture stated that all stakeholders, including students, educators, education staff, parents/guardians, school boards, communities, local governments, and governments should participate in prevention efforts. 4. Permendikbudno. 82/2015 concerning the Prevention and Countermeasures of Violence in Educational Institutions has been running well and the system and mechanisms/SOPs for prevention and control have been established/implemented. Cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of 5. Religious Affairs to combat sexual or gender-based violence in the educational environment. 6. Sexual violence is not a taboo and should not be hidden. Therefore, it needs to receive public attention so that efforts can be made to handle victims and/or prevent and recover from victims. How should women be placed to be protected from cases of sexual violence? 1. Let's go back to the first please of Pancasila, belief in the one of supreme god. 2. Parents should teach that men and women are different. God puts men and women in their respective positions according to their fitrah. In some cases, some of them are not intended and cannot replace others. There are some specific issues and there are indeed differences. This God adapts to everyone's instincts, character and conditions. 3. Women must take care of their self-esteem. 4. Women are at home except in an emergency. 5. Put your daughter in a good school, a good college or a good boarding school 6. Marry to protect the chastity and honor of men and women.
A good presidential candidate must have a strong vision to build the nation, deliver commitments that are not just sweet promises, but have definite goals to advance a country, including providing quality education and conditions that support the development of children as future leaders with integrity and prosperity. A strong presidential candidate does not only focus on current conditions, but is able to design work programs that can change the present and have a big positive impact on the future. That may be, or indeed is the "key" to sustainable development and the welfare of future generations.  +
In essence, the history of Indonesia is the history of its youth. Every significant event for this nation is the result of the efforts of young people, with the indelible history of youth being exemplified by the Youth Pledge (Sumpah Pemuda) and the 1998 Reform as moments of unity and national consciousness spanning across the archipelago. Without the involvement of the youth, there would never be a country named Indonesia founded by the young, as the history of this nation is the history of its youth movements. Now, what about the context of Youth and Elections? The younger generation plays a crucial role in sustaining and impacting the policies implemented by leaders. They are not mere witnesses but essential entities with the capacity to shape the direction and character of a nation. In the context of the 2024 Elections, the role of the youth becomes increasingly significant. Their involvement goes beyond exercising the right to vote; it involves the responsibility to choose wisely and support leaders with vision and dedication to the nation's progress. The importance of the youth's role is not solely confined to their participation in the electoral process but extends to their intelligence and wisdom in evaluating potential leaders. In facing the 2024 Elections, the younger generation is expected to be agents of change intelligent, critical, and discerning. Therefore, the role of the youth is not just as recipients of policies but as pillars actively constructing the foundation for the sustainability and progress of a nation. I believe ensuring the role of the youth is as weighty as the longing of Dilan for Milea, the Jiwa for Nanti, or Layla for Majnun.  +
In our opinion, Youth and elections in Indonesia show diverse attitudes, some are active and enthusiastic, others tend to be apathetic. Several young people are directly involved in the electoral process, taking advantage of their right to vote and participate in political activities. They may involve themselves in campaigns, public discussions, or even be involved in youth organizations concerned with political issues. On the other hand, there are also some younger generations who feel apathetic towards elections and politics in general. Factors such as distrust of the political system, lack of understanding of political issues, or disappointment with government performance can contribute to this apathy. In addition, some young people may feel that their voices are not heard enough or that political participation will not bring significant change. It is important to note that apathy does not occur equally across youth groups, and many of them are still concerned and active in voicing their views. Encouraging better political education, bringing young people closer to relevant issues, and creating spaces for participation can help overcome apathy and strengthen young people's involvement in the electoral process. In this case, there are many perspectives that can be seen, not all of the young generation are apathetic but also not all of the young generation are brave enough to speak out about the election. Currently, many young people have the courage to voice their opinions in the upcoming elections. In fact, many young people are taking part in communities to think about the future fate of this nation. The size of a nation is largely determined by the involvement of its young generation. History records that youth have a very important role in every change that occurs in this country.  +
Indonesia is a country that upholds a democratic system, all decisions must be made through mutual deliberation with the aim of mutual justice. The democratic system exists to solve a problem faced by two or more people, for example in a presidential election where there is more than one person who wants to be the leader of the country, so to solve it it must be through a democratic system. It is the results of democracy that determine whether everything is resolved, because it is related to mutual agreement. The condition of democracy is developing from time to time, the democratic system is also becoming a battle between the interests of various groups. Various groups have strategies to win the battle, such as money politics, media propaganda, bringing each other down and many more. Various interests and strategies to achieve democratic victory have an impact on society and also have an impact on the democratic system or the election of a potential leader in government, this is based on the conditions of democracy itself. When the struggle for interests is brought into conflict with society, it creates a public stigma that the struggle for democracy is unhealthy, so that people prefer to abstain from voting (white groups). When people choose to abstain, the democratic system does not work fully, so the democratic system becomes flawed because there are still people who prefer to abstain rather than participate in the democratic system itself. However, people do not understand the importance of democracy, so people prefer not to interfere with the democratic system. This happens because the interests of groups that are considered by society, all leaders who will be elected are the same, have the same interests. Therefore, the democratic system is already running well, people only choose to abstain because people who fight in politics are destroying the democratic system itself. Whatever the conditions of the democratic struggle, society must still take part in the democratic struggle, the public must understand that in the situation of choosing a leader, if the public thinks that all the potential leaders are bad, then the public must choose the one who is the least bad (Sheikh Yusuf Qardhawi) In conclusion, the democratic system must not be mixed with group interests and the community must choose leaders who they think are good for them and should not choose under coercion, let alone given money.
